Bill Coleman
Back Home Again in Indiana, 1938
Trumpet player Bill Coleman made this recording with a stellar French band in Paris a couple of years after leaving India. On violin is the legendary Stephane Grappeli and the guitar player is Joseph Reinhardt, brother of the maverick genius Django Reinhardt. In a Freudian typo, a later reissue of this track lists it as Back Home Again in India.
